CCleaner 1.21.130 [direct download this version] works much like the commercial registry cleaner in Norton System Works and removes unused and temporary files. It also clears many of the "recently opened" lists found in programs. And it allows you to remove programs from the startup list, preventing them from running when Windows starts.
