We aren't Microsoft shills here at ChaseandSam.com, but the fact is that Windows Live Onecare is a good product with an overly long name. WLOc includes a good anti virus program, the excellent Windows Defender anti-spyware, an upgraded and very easy to use firewall, and a recently updated back up system that is very easy to use. Why would you use this program instead of the free ones like AVG (above)? Great question - we still recommend AVG plus free firewall (like Windows XP service pack 2, or perhaps Zone Alarm) for most home users - but you can't use AVG at work, not even non-profits. You can, however, use WLOc at work, and can pay $26.99 for a three system license - a fantastic price - at buy.com (click here).
